quick update
Alright, taking a quick break from assignments to give you guys an update.
I have been getting some writing done, both on IWOAK and Choices.
The plan is to have Choices 2 up sometime this weekend (finally) and then just put in work to get IWOAK31 complete for early October, so keep your fingers crossed.
Plagiarism wise, I still haven't heard back from fanfiction so I'm going to be sending another email to them sometime this week and writing the girl another review requesting she take it down although I am positive that's pointless since she's had almost a full month and she hasn't done anything about it.
What else... oh! During class today I may or may not have figured out a subplot to add some zing to FFYT. Yes, I do have it plotted out for the most part but there was something missing and I think it's the fact that I'm strong at writing internal conflict but for some reason I can't carry off a story like that all the way through without some sort of external catalyst.
And lets face it, with Missy's lifestyle and the boys she attracts//is attracted too, there are a lot of things hanging around to make your almost happily ever after go awry. Although, you guys don't really get a chance to see the type of boys Missy is attracted to you right now do you? Think AJ but a tad bit more dangerous and less controlled but fiercely loyal. Of course, she'll be in college for her story so who knows, she might have outgrown the cut-throat type ;)
Out of curiousity, is there anything you guys want to ask me to make a blog post about? I won't promise anything since I barely have time to write but I figure if I'm taking so long with the actual writing I should try and do some blogging but there are only so many snippits/update posts you can make before things get tedious, lol.
How's everything with you guys? Have you gotten back into the swing of things school wise? I have to say, I hope I hit my stride by October because it is not fun being bone tired by 8:30PM, especially since I'm most productive late at night/early morning.

Personally have no requests blog wise, happy to go with your flow. Looking forward to the new chapter and Missy's story. Missy may have grown up but I hope she doesn't change her attitude, I've always rooted for the down to earth plain speaking Missy.

i Agree with Stretch 19, no requests at the moment you have been giving updates, snippits and everything and i know you are pretty busy with school so i am fine with just getting the updates for the stories when you can. Looking forwards to everything (IWOAK, Choices, and FFYT)I already know Missy's story will be great.)
ReplyDeleteWish i was still in school, but sadly i am at work so when i get updates i jump at the chance to read on those slow days (Thank good for smart phones)...shhh don't tell my boss ;-)other than that case loads a mile long.

ReplyDeleteI'm good. School had me STRESSED for the first week. But finally getting use to it && all the drama that comes along with it.

I was in a car accident and suffered a back injury. At the time of the accident I wasn't in any pain and turned down medical care. Big mistake. Over time my back has become a source of agonizing pain. Currently, I am not working or going to school, but I have an appointment with a spine specialist. Hopefully, he can get me back on track.

@Sequined Pajamas -- Wow. Can you ask for the medical care now that it has started to act up? Hopefully the specialist can fix whatever's wrong and you can start feeling better soon.
ReplyDeleteAnd in regards to Missy; personality wise she's the same, but she has grown in some aspects and in others she'll be growing. I do think it'll be interesting to see how people react to her without the filter of Judi's eyes because sometimes someone who doesn't believe in sugar coating things will come off quite abrasive when you're with them constantly.
And I'm sure once I start working full time I'll wish I was back in school, lol, and to be honest right now it's not that bad, it's just pretty hectic.
Thanks for every ones well wishes. We could still pursue legal action, but we might not gain much and the hassle probably won't be worth it. However, if the damage is severe we might have to re-think that decision. The appointment is this week. Wish me luck!
