Hey y'all, Happy Easter if y'all celebrate it, if not I hope you're having a good weekend! I know it's been a while and I'm not going to bother with excuses, just going to provide writing updates. I've decided to treat Judi and Missy's stories as a series. Their stories can stand alone but they connect slightly through each other and I figure it makes it easier to show they're connected if they have a series title. As a result I've renamed Missy's story to flow better with Judi's (and talks to the plot of her story). Hey you guys, sorry for being so late with updates! I hope everything has been going well for you guys and 2014 has been better than 2013! For me, things are quite a bit different. Work has been hectic, I was moved to another team and now I'm working on three accounts instead of just focusing on one so I had to learn the ropes and then there was a mass firing (I wasn't let go) but we were given additional responsibilities so I've just been focusing on staying on top of everything in my main job. Writing wise I've been doing a lot of thinking, not just about IWOAK but my other completed stories that I should have rewritten and revised but haven't gotten very far on. It doesn't make sense that I'm having such a hard time to get really into the writing/rewriting of finished stories (WDC, IWOAK) or stories I already have major plot points figured out (FFYT, OMN). The main issue is the mind set I'm in now versus the mindset I was in when I started. Wh...

Hey guys, I know I haven't posted in 6 months but I'm honestly fed up with myself and my inability to get past the idea/plotting stage of a story to the actual writing. Even forcing my self isn't working. I tried nano and went absolutely nowhere. I'm talking like 6000 words max. However, I've joined a couple of those publisher communities (i.e. swoonreads.com ) where you can post your stories online and depending on community feedback they have voting rounds and if you get high enough your story will be looked at by editors of the publication and then the 'winner' or top book of that period will be published. I'm seriously thinking about  submitting IWOAK to the community and see how it does. Mind you, I might age the characters up a bit, first year uni at the max for Judi and the girls just to make certain aspects of the story more realistic. I'm not sure on that yet, but it's an option, especially since I think there's not  ...

IWOAK 33 I decided to just post the first half of chapter 33 since it's about 5K and it's a decent chapter, and what with work who knows when I'll be able to actually get the second half typed up and posted and I already missed posting for April. So, review replies for 32 will be a bit late in coming as I have a family get together tonight but I hope you guys like the chapter! WDC So, I started cleaning this bad boy up and it started to turn into a full blown rewrite and I'm liking it quite a bit better. I'm contemplating entering it into a couple of contests to see how it fares and then querying agents OR going straight epub with the cleaned up version. But if I go epub I want it to be as professional as possible, so cover art, no errors grammar or continuity etc.  and since we all know how I am with time management that might be a bit of a bust. Oh vell. Hope everything is good with you guys!

So I'm about halfway finished 33, I'm aiming to have it finished fairly soon but it's a heavy chapter on all fronts. It's looking like it'll be longer than I intended unless I go off-scene with some things or do flashbacks, and I'm not sure since I feel both AJ and Jared deserve full screen time. We shall see how it works when I finish writing it out. I wanted to have a teaser or cut scene to post but I couldn't find anything that wasn't spoilerish for later on so I thought I'd give you guys the beginning of the chapter. End of chapter 32 she confronts her parents about knowing about  Jared and this continues directly from there.   Do not click if you want to read it all in one go when I actually post on fp. This is about two and a half pages of what will be [unless I get stuck] in the final draft.

Kinda want to bump the previous post down since it continues to bother my soul, lol, and I'm trying to move past that. So, updates. Non-Writing Related Heading into the final stretch for school, found out today I got my internship! *brap brap* here's hoping they hire me afterwards and I don't have to struggle at searching for a job as I usually do. Of course, this means that all of my major projects are coming to a head since the internship starts in April but I'm hoping to figure out a system that will work better than the one I currently have, which hasn't been working out that well when it comes to writing regularly, lol. Um, I've decided to start running since I went from playing some sort of sport all through highschool and elementary school and even the first three/four years of college to doing nothing at all and I'm beginning to feel the effects. had to run five minutes to my bus stop and almost passed out once I got on, lmao, and I intend ...

I know some of you are worried that I'm not going to finish but I am working on it. School officially started last week so I wanted to get the chapter done by this weekend but the transition is killing me. At some point in time, I took a scene that should've happened earlier out/altered it and now a scene I need to write for this chapter isn't working because its set up is built on what should've happened in the removed scene. I think I've figured out how to fix it but we'll see if I'm able to get it out this week as planned since third week [of school] is when everything will start to really pick up. Also, someone asked when we'll be seeing a happier Judi... not for a while. Her house of cards is tumbling and things are coming to light that she either has chosen to ignore or didn't about are coming to light.

Sorry about the internet silence, school is coming to an end so things have been busy. IWOAK I'm about a third of the way finished with this chapter, I'm over the 3k mark but the more I look at it the more it feels unnecessary but at the same time it does have bits that I want to highlight without it just being her telling us about it. I don't know, I need to finish the chapter and then based on that see if I should cut the opening or what. I have a little over two more weeks of school left for this term, thankfully, so as long as I remember to make sure I bring all my writing with me this chapter should be posted late December. I'm aiming for Christmas at the latest but no promises. GENERAL I failed Nano horribly, today is the last day and I'm not even going to bother and push my word count. I feel so behind on everything. I'm behind on review replies for chapter thirty ( I usually try to get them out either the same day as the new chapter has been posted or a day or two after), chapter 30 was posted mad late (it was supposed to be up for Halloween) and I was supposed to post a blog a few days ago. IWOAK Currently working on IWOAK32 (scene transitions hate my life, I thought I had gotten better then I get to this chapter. Oy) and decided to take a slight break because everything is getting frustrating. I know what I want, I know the emotions I have to get across but nothing is working the way it needs too. So frustrating. I'm also worried that some things might seem like they came out of nowhere, which to be fair, they do. but Judi has either been in the dark about certain things or willfully forgetting stuff and since she's the main character and the only person we hear from, you learn things when she does. And if you don't celebrate it, well, happy day before you can buy massive amounts of candy and stuff for half the price, lol.  Doing a bit of rewriting because I have a fun scene with Judi, Missy, Talia and Lisa butttt it's not necessary and it's making it difficult for me to get to the scene that I need to make the story move forward so I'm holding onto it to see if it can be put in at a later date and if not, well then I guess we'll have an outtake scene for the blog at some point, lol. I'm hoping to have it up by the end of this week, I'm pushing to have it up by tonight/tomorrow but no guarantees.  School wise, eh.I fumbled on two assignments, one I did wrong in every way possible, I might as well not have done it at all and the other I forgot to do a section, thankfully not a large section but still. Alright, taking a quick break from assignments to give you guys an update. I have been getting some writing done, both on IWOAK and Choices. The plan is to have Choices 2 up sometime this weekend (finally) and then just put in work to get IWOAK31 complete for early October, so keep your fingers crossed. Plagiarism wise, I still haven't heard back from fanfiction so I'm going to be sending another email to them sometime this week and writing the girl another review requesting she take it down although I am positive that's pointless since she's had almost a full month and she hasn't done anything about it.  What else... oh! During class today I may or may not have figured out a subplot to add some zing to FFYT. Yes, I do have it plotted out for the most part but there was something missing and I think it's the fact that I'm strong at writing internal conflict but for some reason I can't carry off a story like that all the way through without some s...

It Was Only A Kiss Stalled. I have about 500 words written but it doesn't feel right for an opening. I don't know if I should jump a head a few days and give her a chance to gain control or go right into her confrontation with her parents and even that is iffy since her dynamic with her parents makes her reactions feel iffy. I'm going to try and write a different scene and then come back to the opening and hopefully by then I'll have figured out what's wrong and won't have to do another 10k scrapping session before it comes out right. Choices Second part of AJ's POV is coming along nicely. I considered doing it in chronological order but honestly I'm pretty much writing his parts as they come to me and since it's a series of one-shots/his memories each scene is strong enough to stand on its own if you've read the main story (I think).
