Scribbles and Updates

So, I have been pretty much trash at actually updating this blog, lol. But new year, same goals but this time I have a plan. See below for a summary of the shit show that was 2016 and then my action plan (kinda) for 2017.  Let me know how your year hwas and whether you have any goals/visions for 2017! 2016 in Review My 2016  can pretty much be summarized as follows:  I lost both of my grandmothers' in the first half of the year. My mom's mom passed in February, my dad's mom passed in April. Both funerals happened a month after they passed due to outside complications. One of my closest friends also went into a crisis in March and wasn't released until mid-May. During that time all, I could think of in my head was 'deaths come in threes' which had me on edge and anxious. Work also became pretty hectic. School is finished for the term, so I'm focused on getting chapter 32 done and posted by Christmas. I'm really aiming to have the story complete before the new year starts even if the other chapters have to be handwritten with point form thrown in for ideas I don't have the words to get complete, lol. It might not get posted until the new year starts but I just want to be secure in the fact that I have it complete, lol. We'll see how well that goes since my baby brother alone has me all over the place (he has never met a club he didn't want to join so we're going to a bunch of Christmas concerts for him now. I'm actually pretty proud about that, lol, not to mention this is the first time in almost five years that I've been able to go to one of his concerts). But seriously, I do need to step my game up. It Was Only A Kiss Stalled. I have about 500 words written but it doesn't feel right for an opening. I don't know if I should jump a head a few days and give her a chance to gain control or go right into her confrontation with her parents and even that is iffy since her dynamic with her parents makes her reactions feel iffy. I'm going to try and write a different scene and then come back to the opening and hopefully by then I'll have figured out what's wrong and won't have to do another 10k scrapping session before it comes out right. Choices Second part of AJ's POV is coming along nicely. I considered doing it in chronological order but honestly I'm pretty much writing his parts as they come to me and since it's a series of one-shots/his memories each scene is strong enough to stand on its own if you've read the main story (I think).
