Scribbles and Updates

Happy Halloween! And if you don't celebrate it, well, happy day before you can buy massive amounts of candy and stuff for half the price, lol.  Doing a bit of rewriting because I have a fun scene with Judi, Missy, Talia and Lisa butttt it's not necessary and it's making it difficult for me to get to the scene that I need to make the story move forward so I'm holding onto it to see if it can be put in at a later date and if not, well then I guess we'll have an outtake scene for the blog at some point, lol. I'm hoping to have it up by the end of this week, I'm pushing to have it up by tonight/tomorrow but no guarantees.  School wise, eh.I fumbled on two assignments, one I did wrong in every way possible, I might as well not have done it at all and the other I forgot to do a section, thankfully not a large section but still. I don't know why because I do not play with my school work.   I think I'm so caught up with my group assignments and ...

Alright, taking a quick break from assignments to give you guys an update. I have been getting some writing done, both on IWOAK and Choices. The plan is to have Choices 2 up sometime this weekend (finally) and then just put in work to get IWOAK31 complete for early October, so keep your fingers crossed. Plagiarism wise, I still haven't heard back from fanfiction so I'm going to be sending another email to them sometime this week and writing the girl another review requesting she take it down although I am positive that's pointless since she's had almost a full month and she hasn't done anything about it.  What else... oh! During class today I may or may not have figured out a subplot to add some zing to FFYT. Yes, I do have it plotted out for the most part but there was something missing and I think it's the fact that I'm strong at writing internal conflict but for some reason I can't carry off a story like that all the way through without some s...

So, IWOAK 31 is coming along, I know the scenes that have to happen, it's just the order of things and the pacing that's being difficult. I want to get as much as I can done in August since when school starts back I'm going to destroy it. I managed to finish last year with a 4.0 average and As in all my classes and I'm doing that again this year. But, as y'all know, as my marks rocketed my updating went to shite, lol, so now I want to make sure I have enough done to keep me updating monthly without sacrificing quality for either aspects of my life. Currently the plan is to update at the end of the month as usual but I'll be moving back to school during that week/first week of September so things might be a bit late but it will be up.

Story Update IWOAK I'm over halfway finished with chapter thirty, I hit my stride a few days ago, hit a rough snag transition wise but I'm feeling good about being able to post first week of August. I'm feeling fairly confident about this opening although I'm worried that what I'm aiming for might not come across as clearly as I want it too but we shall see. CHOICES AJ's voice is killing me. I'll probably post some of the rejected material on here since it's not bad, per se, but something about it feels off. FALL  FOR YOUR TYPE First chapter has been drafted, plot has been figured out and I have a rough idea for the summary [which I will post on here later]. I'm not going to start typing it out until I'm closer to the end for IWOAK since I don't want to get distracted by the shiny. --- During one of my long absences [one of the six months ones] I got frustrated with my inability to actually write the chapter I was supposed too...

So this chapter is harder to write then I thought it would be. I know everything that has to happen, and to be honest I've known how this chapter was going to go down from about chapter five, lol. I have scenes written out and dialogue I want to throw in, except all of my scenes and dialogue are for when she finally gets to hear AJ's side of the story. I still need to get her away from the Goblins. I don't want to drag it on like I did with the previous chapter but I'm having issues with making it realistic while holding the tension. Ugh. I was really hoping to have it ready for the end of this month but I don't see that happening right now since I'm not even half way finished, on a good note, I did finish the first 'chapter' of AJ's side of things. I'm going to make another post for that though. I'm also hoping to have IWOAK29 done for May so I can keep up my posting once a month thing going on as well as possibly post a few one shots ...

So I haven't gotten a lot of writing done with the current chapter as I have about a week left of school so I've been working on assignments/studying but once I get back home that's top priority [alongside the job hunt]. I have, however, gotten about halfway through AJ's one-shot although I still need to give it a title. Also, Missy's story has a title [Fall For Your Type] and if I can figure out the conflict it should be a go go, lol. I hope everything is going well with you guys, and I'm hoping to have something up sometime during the first two weeks of May. 

So I'm over halfway finished chapter 28. I currently have 8946 words of an expected 13 000 finished. I've also written out most of AJ's one-shot, I just need to type it up which will be done after the chapter is complete.  I'm aiming to finish the majority of my class assignments this weekend and then just focus on the chapter.  Also, I found the first person version of that wedding snippit I put up a few posts back. The voice in this one is stronger than third person (I feel) but the descriptions are lacking.

Currently chugging along, got the opening down although that might change depending on how the rest of the story flows. I always find the beginning chapters of 'major' events difficult because should I just jump right in? Do we want a build up and then the event? Can you do both? And I tried to do it from them being at the event and starting from her waking up so I could start tying things together but it just felt like too much and I asked my sister and she told me I didn't need any more build up for this story, lol.  As well, I have decided  I'm going to try my hand at writing a one shot for AJ. I don't know how this is going to turn out because he is not open with his feelings, or at least soft feelings, so it should be interesting. I have an idea to either write it from when he decides to use her so we can see where his mind's at and how he notices her for the first time or during show and tell.
