Hey y'all, Happy Easter if y'all celebrate it, if not I hope you're having a good weekend! I know it's been a while and I'm not going to bother with excuses, just going to provide writing updates. I've decided to treat Judi and Missy's stories as a series. Their stories can stand alone but they connect slightly through each other and I figure it makes it easier to show they're connected if they have a series title. As a result I've renamed Missy's story to flow better with Judi's (and talks to the plot of her story). Happy 2013 all! I just wanted to thank all of you for the support over the years, this year especially since I know my writing has slowed down quite a bit and life kept intruding and I have yet to perfect the art of multi-tasking to that degree. This isn't going to be super long, just letting you know that IWOAK will be updated by the end of this week, Sunday at the latest. The chapter is complete I'm honestly just trying to work out a few kinks but I won't be ditching huge chunks of text (I don't think) lol. Since I've been pretty neglectful here's some Missy (no spoilers for FFYT I don't think):

So I think I've figured out why this chapter is so hard for me. Part of the reason is because I want it to end well. I want it to be true to the tone and the characters that I've created while being realistic based on the situation, but the other reason is because I've been overthinking it and focused only on this story. When I was reaching the end of WDC, I was already starting to work on IWOAK, and with one of the other novels I finished (it wasn't posted on FP, at lest not the finished product) I had been working on WDC and it alternately whenever I got stuck on one. And when that didn't work I drew or painted or had some other form of creative outlet. This time around I've been working only on IWOAK and sometimes FFYT or trying to work on CHOICES with all other stories being put on the backburner or I haven't been writing at all, not seriously. Hey all, So I'm still pushing through this chapter. Got fed up and I figured I'd share one of the scenes that got cut since it wasn't getting the urgency across and Judi's voice isn't flowing properly. I've reread this story more times these past few months then I have during the years I've been writing it and it still isn't coming to me. I've written almost 20K and not even half of that is usable. So unamused. I don't think there are any spoilers, it's a bit of backstory and there's some violence.  This was one of multiple openings I had written for this chapter, and was going to be the original opening but I scrapped it about a week or two ago.  Scene below the cut:

Hey all, So chapter 34 is coming along. It's actually pretty much done but I did all the typing on my cellphone on the ride too and from work and now I'm trying to catch all the typos on a real computer when I have the time, but my spellcheck is being sometimesish about catching the mistakes, even stupid ones that are a result of my thumb hitting the wrong button so hopefully I can get it all cleaned up and finished for this weekend but if not, next week for sure. Now, I don't know how many of you have heard, but there was an incident at a mall in Toronto that is basically the major mall for the city. Everyone goes there. It's a three minute walk from my work and when you're in highschool it's a 'destination' mall. Hey all, I know, I went off grid for a while but I'm still here. Started my internship three weeks ago and I've been commuting/working/commuting/sleeping. Lol. I have been writing on the commute though, it's an hour twenty both ways not counting the fifteen minute walk to and from the bus stop and then to and from my work so when I'm awake enough I'm putting in work, it's just finding the time to actually type it up. internship ends this Friday [ please let me get hired, please, please, please ] and there's no guarantee I'll get kept so there's that. Of course, it's my little brother's birthday tomorrow as well as a friend of mines so this weekend will probably be celebrating with them. Um, what else. So I'm about halfway finished 33, I'm aiming to have it finished fairly soon but it's a heavy chapter on all fronts. It's looking like it'll be longer than I intended unless I go off-scene with some things or do flashbacks, and I'm not sure since I feel both AJ and Jared deserve full screen time. We shall see how it works when I finish writing it out. I wanted to have a teaser or cut scene to post but I couldn't find anything that wasn't spoilerish for later on so I thought I'd give you guys the beginning of the chapter. End of chapter 32 she confronts her parents about knowing about  Jared and this continues directly from there.   Do not click if you want to read it all in one go when I actually post on fp. This is about two and a half pages of what will be [unless I get stuck] in the final draft.

Kinda want to bump the previous post down since it continues to bother my soul, lol, and I'm trying to move past that. So, updates. Non-Writing Related Heading into the final stretch for school, found out today I got my internship! *brap brap* here's hoping they hire me afterwards and I don't have to struggle at searching for a job as I usually do. Of course, this means that all of my major projects are coming to a head since the internship starts in April but I'm hoping to figure out a system that will work better than the one I currently have, which hasn't been working out that well when it comes to writing regularly, lol. So here are the replies for the anon reviews. JamaicanGurl - I'm glad you're enjoying the story and my writing style. When it comes to spelling patois, I think that can be up for some debate, lol. I would actually spell it 'yahdies' [as would my friends but we're second gen. lol] but I said yardies because I think that would be easier to figure out what it means since I am writing for a mixed audience, lol, and yard is clearly stated while 'yahd' or 'yaad' would be confusing for people not in the country. And I said 'wind' because you can wind up a toy and it's a twisting motion so it's easy to connect it to the action they're doing with their hips, lol. I know some of you are worried that I'm not going to finish but I am working on it. School officially started last week so I wanted to get the chapter done by this weekend but the transition is killing me. At some point in time, I took a scene that should've happened earlier out/altered it and now a scene I need to write for this chapter isn't working because its set up is built on what should've happened in the removed scene. I think I've figured out how to fix it but we'll see if I'm able to get it out this week as planned since third week [of school] is when everything will start to really pick up. Also, someone asked when we'll be seeing a happier Judi... not for a while. Her house of cards is tumbling and things are coming to light that she either has chosen to ignore or didn't about are coming to light.

I feel so behind on everything. I'm behind on review replies for chapter thirty ( I usually try to get them out either the same day as the new chapter has been posted or a day or two after), chapter 30 was posted mad late (it was supposed to be up for Halloween) and I was supposed to post a blog a few days ago. IWOAK Currently working on IWOAK32 (scene transitions hate my life, I thought I had gotten better then I get to this chapter. Oy) and decided to take a slight break because everything is getting frustrating. I know what I want, I know the emotions I have to get across but nothing is working the way it needs too. So frustrating. I'm also worried that some things might seem like they came out of nowhere, which to be fair, they do. but Judi has either been in the dark about certain things or willfully forgetting stuff and since she's the main character and the only person we hear from, you learn things when she does. I just wanted to make a general post to thank everyone for the support with the plagiarism issue. It still hasn't been taken down and still hasn't responded back to my message but I still want to thank everyone for taking the time to message her/fanfiction about the issue. I'm not sure what I'm going to do now but I'll continue to work on it and watch her. From the way she hasn't responded I'm getting the vibe she might either just let the story die and continue to 'write' on another site or wait until she thinks the hype has gone down and then post. So, IWOAK 31 is coming along, I know the scenes that have to happen, it's just the order of things and the pacing that's being difficult. I want to get as much as I can done in August since when school starts back I'm going to destroy it. I managed to finish last year with a 4.0 average and As in all my classes and I'm doing that again this year. But, as y'all know, as my marks rocketed my updating went to shite, lol, so now I want to make sure I have enough done to keep me updating monthly without sacrificing quality for either aspects of my life. Currently the plan is to update at the end of the month as usual but I'll be moving back to school during that week/first week of September so things might be a bit late but it will be up.

It Was Only A Kiss Stalled. I have about 500 words written but it doesn't feel right for an opening. I don't know if I should jump a head a few days and give her a chance to gain control or go right into her confrontation with her parents and even that is iffy since her dynamic with her parents makes her reactions feel iffy. I'm going to try and write a different scene and then come back to the opening and hopefully by then I'll have figured out what's wrong and won't have to do another 10k scrapping session before it comes out right. Choices Second part of AJ's POV is coming along nicely. I considered doing it in chronological order but honestly I'm pretty much writing his parts as they come to me and since it's a series of one-shots/his memories each scene is strong enough to stand on its own if you've read the main story (I think).
